Not really enough to give an analysis. But from the top of my head it may be you are having difficulty working through certain aspects in your life {rowing through a dock/canal}. It could involve emotions or instinctive impulses that at some time in your past gave rise to guilt feelings. This application of the symbols would address a particular emotional conflict or complex you have.
