The Dream:

I was standing in my parents' back yard watching a small engine airplane flying over an open field. (I think it was night or maybe twilight, but I'm not certain about this.) The airplane would fly up high and then dive back towards the ground and plane out. It did this a few times and I began to fear it would crash. It appeared the pilot was practicing acrobats, but would only fly straight up and then back down. No twirling or flips.
Then I look and see the plane did crash. There was fire and smoke from the crash site. I fumbled for a phone to call 911. As I was calling, a man crawled out out the wreckage, he was on fire. He was first walking and then rolled on the ground to try to extinguish being on fire. Then I notice another man crawling out of the wreckage. He never did stand up, but he also began to roll around. The second man seemed like he may have been injured somehow and was unable to stand, but he could crawl and he was trying to extinguish himself too. Then I woke up.

It will be Sunday at the earliest before I will be able to provide an analysis. I have been fighting the flue bug since Tuesday and yet to beat it.

Are there expectations in your life that may not have materialized as you wished? Your parents may be involved in this experience. There may have been a recent experience where you had high {perhaps unrealistic} expectations only to have it 'crash' on you. This would have had devastating affect making it hard to regain your footing.
