Eerie Horse Imagery

Hello, This is my dream. It is the only dream I can ever remembered having that involved horses.

I'm looking at laboratory where an older female scientist is observing 2 horses. The horses are standing submerged in large tanks of water. They are connected to many large iv lines that are keeping them alive and in this state. The horses have been given some type of medically induced locked-in syndrome which is also for some reason keeping their bodies in suspended animation. It becomes known to me, that these horses have been kept alive in these tanks for a frighteningly unknown amount of time, paralyzed, unable to die, yet completely aware. It switches to a view from the dock of a frozen lake at night. There are rows of horses laying on their sides, dead and frozen underneath the solid ice.

Re: Eerie Horse Imagery

Bec,
I'm working on your dream and will provide a final analysis Thursday morning. The only thing I need to discern is the meaning of the horses. They represent some aspect of your psyche/you but exactly what I need to work with a little more. If you look at the dream and insert 'you'or aspects/emotional aspect of yourself where the horses appear then the dream message will come together. Example, where the dream states 'these horses have been kept alive in these tanks for a frighteningly unknown amount of time, paralyzed, unable to die'. If you take that sentence and word it this way, 'some aspect of myself font color="#00aaee">have been kept alive in these tanks for a frighteningly unknown amount of time, paralyzed, unable to die' then it will make sense. Everywhere the horses appear they refer to some aspect of yourself. Here are some possibilities of the symbolic meaning of horses.

1} The instinctive, animal life
2} Strong physical energies within you
3} The 'mother' {instinct} within you
4} particular emotions
5} a dead horse could represent something in your life that initially offered you strength is now gone.

Take these and see if you can fit them into some aspect of your emotional life.

I'll look at the dream in the morning when I have a better intuitive mind and see what I can come up with.

Re: Eerie Horse Imagery

Bec,
After taking a second look at your dream I come up with this.

Emotional forces being alive within the deep unconscious. The forces have been repressed into the unconscious which allows the body to function although the dormant forces have control over your waking life. The emotional forces are from early life experiences. Something has blocked your natural instincts, not allowing you to function as you should.

What events/experiences in your early life have you repressed? The emotional energies from these experiences are controlling If not wholly then at least partially} your conscious life. Emotionally you may be consciously suffering for unknown reasons. Those reasons are due to the early life experiences that you have suspended from conscious knowledge, repressed the experiences because of the emotional pain involved.
