Hi
I dreamt I was at my parent's house (an extremely common dream theme for me).
I began to fly up from the house and began heading east and south in the direction of my old high school. I kept going higher and higher and noted in the dream that I had no fear, no fear at all, not of heights nor of being up so high, in fact I felt happy, delighted, exhilarated. I flew toward my high school ("high" school) and when I got there I flew around a park near it that I used to go to with my family as a child. I felt happy and refreshed when I woke up.
Thanks for your thoughts :)

May,
Being in your parent's house would suggest something about the relationship with them. It could have to do with influences from that time in your life. Flying is symbolic of liberation from something that has held you down. Because of this release of emotions you are positive and there is happiness and no fear. High school is a time of transition, a turning point in life. You are experiencing similar experiences with family as you had a s a child.
Look at recent experiences and see where this would fit.

Hi Jerry
I think I am liberating myself from family expectations from when I was in high school. Starting in high school my mother had a very strict agenda for how I was to be, what values I would hold dear, how I would spend my life, etc. None of it has anything to do with how I am, my purpose and mission for being on earth, my values, my dreams or my career aspirations. I am now finally beginning the work needed to enter into the profession I wanted to enter into when I was in high school. I graduated from high school in 1989. It is 2014 and and I'm only starting the first step toward my intended career path. All these years in between have given me experience but it took this long to shake off a false self and the guilt that arose from living from living from my true self where I could steal away moments to be who I am. And the stress of keeping on a false self. I think my beer dream speaks to this.
I was an academic for the last 10 years. I wanted to be a lawyer. I like academia but I love law. The great thing is that both my flying dream and pregnant twin dreams confirm that I've broken free and have a beautiful future where I can start over and succeed, for who I am not what others want me to be.
I'm starting law school in the fall in another country :) :)

May,
It does seem to fit. Often it is difficult to understand the message of a dream. But since you do have a positive outlook and are not only working toward your goals but also realizing them, your dreams are more positive than most and more easy to read. Most dreams deal with the negatives. Trying to determine the inner and outer possibilities {this is where knowing the age of the dreamer plays an important role in dream analysis} can be difficult, especially the conscious everyday waking issues. It may because your dreams are internally resolved to a great extent they are easier to understand. There is less conflict with your inner world and outer world. That is the goal of the dream, to bring about balance between the unconscious and conscious life.
