Thank you!

Thank you for the reply.
I forgot to mention last time that yes I am Muslim but not very conservative one rather with a moderate philosophy to life. Secondly, the one I dreamed of (whom I consider a very good friend and my dream also interpreted the same) has seen me in his dreams for two to three times till now but like umm.. having sex with him in his every dream :/
What does this depict?

Re: Thank you!

Anonymous,
Having sex could be a straightforward desire. Consciously or unconsciously he may have had such desires. But it could also be symbolic. Hyperdictionary Dream Dictionary states it this way.
Dreaming about sex refers to the psychological completion and the integration of contrasting aspects of the Self. You need to be more receptive and incorporate aspects of your dream sex partner into your own character.

If indeed the relationship is purely platonic then he may see attributes in you he would desire to complete his need for a balanced psyche. You, being female, would represent his anima or feminine aspects. Jung tells us nature's intent was for humans to be whole, psychologically and spiritually. If some aspect of the psyche is out of balance {which is the case for most everyone} then our dreams would focus on those aspects that are out of balance. For instance {and not to say this fits his personality}. If a male lacks the ability to show emotions {a feminine attribute} then his dreams would focus on images that symbolically point to what is out of balance. You, if this is true with your friend, would possess qualities that would fill any void in his character. By integrating those traits you possess into his personality/psyche he would take a great leap in becoming a 'whole' person, living a balanced and harmonious life. If you are as close friends as you state this could fit.

On the other hand sex is one of the few images that could be literal. Is there a possibility he has deeper feelings for you than you know? If he can be honest then ask him. Admitting such a things would fit both possibilities of the sex image. His desire for a sexual relationship as well as showing feminine traits of being open.

A distinction must be made to remember his dreams are about his emotional self and your dreams are about your emotions. One aspect of dreams that often occur is any intuitive sensations there may be could be revealed in a dream {even though the dreamer does not possess a strong intuitive sense. In my first look at your dream it came to me that the dream could be revealing an intuitive sense you have of your male friend. Do you have impressions that he does possess deeper feelings for you than he admits or displays? If so then his dream may be revealing this deeper desire. Sex it self can be more than the sexual act. It represents the coming together of two aspects to make a whole. That is what marriage is about. Consciously he may never make advances toward you sexually but unconsciously the mind could {it is a natural thing, sex is a part of the human condition}. Dreams are about our true self, our true feelings, aspects we may never reveal openingly {and often not knowing consciously how one does feel}.

Also a sense I had in my original look at your dream was his hugging you for a long time, in front of your family {any person of relationship that is named can be literal-such as husband, wife or family}. The long hug could indicate intuitive sensing of a deeper desire on his part {also on your part if there is a desire for a deeper relationship}. In Western cultures such a thing would be looked upon as perhaps a show of deep feelings and accepted as such. In your culture, if the family is conservative, this could be frown upon. In the first possibility it would be a positive reflection in your psyche, the later a negative. This was the reason I asked about your religious beliefs since even minor things could say a lot about the intent of the dream {and be supported in later dreams when all are put together to give a total view of the dreamer's psyche}. My impression of the dream is it was a positive one {it is your dream which would reflect your true self}. Could it be you have deeper feelings for him and your desire {and perhaps intuitive sensing} he has the same for you? The satisfactory smile on his face {in the dream} would be fulfillment of something satisfactory for you {it was his action but represents your emotions}. His crying may indicate something negative that stands in the way of a possible better expectation {does your family approve of the friendship?}. Your response in teh dream {in front of your family} was a kiss on the cheek, a more innocent response to his long hug. This could either indicate your feelings of wanting nothing more than a simple relationship, or it could indicate you are only showing a simple reaction {kiss on cheek} because of the presence of your family {reflecting the reality of your family's expectations}.

What it comes down to is your true feelings for him and his for you {his sex dream and how it applies, symbolically or literally, as in a desire for a closer relationship}. Naming your family would have something to do with the true self {and the conscious reality of your family}. Of course your family being in your dream could itself be symbolic, representing your inner family. The other people you did not recognize would represent emotions you do not recognize {pointing back to true feelings}. Often it would be both. The family inclusion would point to literal family involvement as well as the inner family within.

To confuse you even more, but staying with the norm of how dreams function, the whole dream's primary focus could be on inner aspects of your psyche. Your friend would fit with traits he possesses that you strongly hold to {as with his sex dream}. He would represent your masculine qualities. But even if this is true the probability is the literal relationship with your male friend is a focus of the dream also {all dreams have at least two meanings/applications}. Usually one aspect would be the primary focus and the other secondary. But both could be a primary focus.

What does it come down to? What are your true feelings toward your male friend? Do you suspect he has deeper feelings or you {which could be what his sex dream reveals}? How does your real family play into the relationship? Answer these questions and you should have a better clarity to what the dream is trying to communicate. I sense it is important for you to know what it means since you did take the time to find an answer to its meaning {and posting it for analysis}. This itself could reveal something about how you really feel toward your make friend.

Re: Thank you!

Thank you again!
I got a much clear view. I do like him as a friend and if some day he asks me to marry him, I would love to because before him I never had such a good and sincere friend.
Sometimes I do feel that he has deeper feelings for me - the way he argues with me on every little thing, the way he gets angry on me and then expects me to cheer him up and all - but I don't want to ask him about this because I don't want anything that effects our friendship. I hope you get me.
Lastly, my family, yeah they don't like our friendship much. As being a bit or more conservative they are quite against it, especially my parents.

Re: Thank you!

Anonymous,
I appreciate the added information. Anytime I analyze a dream a response to my interpretation provides feedback as to whether I am giving a correct analysis. But more than that it helps me understand the subtleties of even what seem to be unimportant references. The fact you are of the Muslim faith and your 'family' was present when he hugged you {and the way it was included/worded} gave me the sense there was a possibility your family was conservative. This may seen unimportant but in your life and culture it is important consideration in relationships {with male friends and family}. Every image/action within a dream has meaning related to the dreamer's life {both inner/unconscious and outer/conscious}.

But more important is your response confirms what I sensed in the dream of a possible deeper relationship. He probably shares these feelings {his sex dream} and I do believe you intuitively pick up on those feelings {without knowing it}. Even it intuitive sensing is not present in the conscious life, it is sometimes revealed in our unconscious dreams. Do you have 'vibes' he has an interest for a deeper relationship?

A comment on the added info about his response to your friendship. The fact "the way he argues with me on every little thing, the way he gets angry on me and then expects me to cheer him up and all" may reveal he has deeper feelings for you, but it also may say something about his personality as well as the cultural influences. If he gets angry with you as a friend how will he react if you should ever marry? In your culture and religious structure the man is the sole authority and women are secondary, with no authority {one aspect about Western religions of Islam, Judaism and Christianity I am opposed to and often appalled by}. I would look deeper into his psyche to make sure his soul is 'moderate' or better yet 'liberal' and not so conservative he becomes a tyrant in marriage. If you are afraid to confront him now how will he react later on if you should ever do so? Perhaps a good test will be to confront him the next time he does become angry and see what his reaction is. You can be subtle in confronting him, ask why he shows his anger toward you {in a gentle and meek way to show you are vulnerable to such attitudes on his part}. If he reacts with compassion and solace then that would be a good sign. But if it is one of even more anger and contempt, then perhaps you may want to remain just friends and nothing more. Let your intuitive senses do their thing. When you go with the original impressions {and not take time to think about them} they always are right. I've used this intuitive approach for along time now and have found it to be always correct. ALWAYS!!!!

Re: Thank you!

Hey Jerry!
No you got him a little wrong. He gets angry when I don't listen to him or argues a lot, and that's only for a little time. If I don't cheer him up, after few days he himself tells me that he was angry and I didn't realize and when I apologize he gets all normal. Otherwise he stays cool.

Anonymous,
That is good to know. If he is conscience of your feelings it means he ha s good soul. The close friendship is good for the both of you. If a deeper relationship is in store then it will naturally come about. Be your true self, spiritual and kind and the laws of Karma will insure a positive life.
