No doubt the dogs in your dreams are aspects of yourself. The disembodiment is a good possibility. The legs lit up from inside may point to an issue that prevents you from maneuver through life as you should. It could point to early life experiences that affect your personality, something that occurred in childhood that continues to affect you as an adult. You could be emotionally 'poisoned' due to these experiences/influences. It could involve issues of self esteem, inner emotions that affect how you feel about yourself {separation of head from body}. Certain positive aspects of your human nature {dog} have died and because they have you are missing vital components that make you whole.
