Re: a blind woman and an ill man

pari,
My sense of the dream is it is addressing issues of being like your mother as well as a need the to develop or use animus/masculine aspects. As you suggested the sick man would be your animus. And in the first part of the dream there was an indirect inference to your mother. Either this points to your feelings about your mother or/and a lack of or a fear of having a weak animus of your own. Because you are following your own path, and from the last part of the dream about the boy and falling into the water, the logical sense would be a fear of being weak but not necessarily possessing those qualities. When looking to your mother's personality you should be able to put those pieces together and determine where they fit in your psychological life.

I believe the dream is basically pointing to the anxieties {as all dreams do, expose our anxieties} in the path you have chosen and the fact you are going against the norm in doing so. Depending on your mother's personality you are either following what she wish she could do, or/and doing what she didn't do in following her heart. That would be because of her cultural/religious beliefs, /and/or a lack of animus aspects within her {an expected quality if there was never a masculine relationship to push her to follow her own path}. Just as with your sister {but perhaps for different reasons} you are doing the opposite what your mother did in her life.

The blind woman would be an aspect you are in fear of having to follow {which, if you possess weak animus aspects, you are overcoming them}. It could also point to your mother's personality {your dreams are about you and your emotions and your mother would be in 'relationship' to those}. I do see what seems to be a repressed function which is usually a negative. But in your case it may be a positive in you have 'repressed' the natural expectations of 'following the crowd' {culturally}. In the dream there is language of 'not falling into the water'. Water is a symbol for the unconscious and not falling into the trappings of unconscious energies related to cultural expectations/early life environment may be the meaning. If you are following your own path, going against your family/cultural expectations, then you have been able to break down the usual conscious/unconscious barriers that most women would face in Iran {one of the few questions I ask when posting a dream is where a person is from, this could have an influence on the dreamer's psyche}.

I interpreted the images and actions and will post them below. You do seem to have some advanced knowledge of Jungian psyche so you may recognize aspects that fit with your life {something I do know because I know so little about you personally}. I broke them down by paragraphs.

Paragraph 1
village-To dream that you are in a village represents restrictions. You need to follow the rules. A village can symbolize community and tradition.
crowd-familiar phrase of "going along with the crowd"
blind woman-refusal to see the truth, a feminine aspect both psychologically and culturally
walking fast-proceeding quickly
car/carriage-direction in life. Being pulled by unwielding forces
following her-proceeding after the feminine aspect
blind woman-A feminine aspect where there is a lack of awareness or understanding within. Turning a blind eye to something.
island village-relationship with your mother and the restrictions that exist
fall in water-unconscious fear of losing control, fear of or needing to letting go
finally/eagerly following-anxieties finally being let going with hat is expected of you
downward road-letting go the old path
power/strong intention-inner intuitive knowledge
why the rush?-pressures
sick man-weak animus aspects

Paragraph 2
following the crowd-following what is expected
end of island-end of relationship with mother {island can be a symbol for the mother}
mother going to bathroom-eliminating the negatives of the mother
woman and man disappearing-attention to those aspects/qualities of that person {mother} within your own self
teenage boys playing-later life development of animus aspects in going against the norm {playing}. May point to actual experiences in your teen years that influenced you
hiding something-repressed function within you
didn't fall in water, they are gone-not falling into normal unconscious aspects
departing from water-bringing out unconscious aspects
no road-no direction to follow {perhaps meaning following your own path, not the norm you grew up with}
boy didn't answer-lacking early masculine {boy image fitting both} qualities

The fact I do know you are following a path that is different from the norm {is your generation in Iran doing more of this, being more independent?} allows me to better apply the images to the known experiences in your life. My contention about dreams is they are all interpretative using Jungian psyche {by someone who has an intuitive psyche and a good knowledge of Jungian concepts}. This position is apparent in the posted dreams at the Dream Forum, and from my correctly analyzing your previous dream our house falling down. In that post all I knew was your age, gender and where you were from. When armed with advanced knowledge of the dreamer's life and personality all dreams can be properly and successfully analyzed/interpreted. Our dreams reflect our true self, our true emotions. Most are unconscious aspects and only when dreams are analyzed does the dreamer realize aspects that are motivating energies in their waking life. You recognized immediately how my analysis fit within your life {I try to use language so the dreamer can understand}. Hopefully what we discover from your dreams will help support your desire to follow your true path. In Jungian psyche it is when one follows the soul they will find true wholeness, psychologically as well as spiritually {not necessarily religious since dreams are a product of nature and religion is man's device, not nature's}. Just a you are doing in your journey.

Re: a blind woman and an ill man

wow!that was amazing don't know how to thank u!
first let me tell you more about my life!I'm an typical Artemis to make it easy!and my sister is a very typical persephone!I assume my mother is a repressed artemis and right now she is more persephone so I've always feared to become my mother!I've always considered her "weak" and never felt like she is my mother and she can help me whenever I'm in trouble!but this fear of becoming like her is always with me and sometimes specially in my relationships with my boyfriends I find myself somehow like her.

and about your question..I'm deciding to go after my heart and my own path and quit medicine and that's not what every young girl or even boy can easily do in Iran.usually the families are religious/traditional and they don't want you to become independent!

So..from your interpretation of these two dreams I realized that I've made the right decision and I'm sure it's gonna strengthen my animus and it's gonna change my relationship with my (psychological)mother for better:)
Thanks alot

Re: a blind woman and an ill man

pari,
My sense from reading the dream that fits with your waking life was the fear of becoming like your mother. Having a fear of being like her would be common since it was an environment you grew up in {despite your positive self that has emerged, the unconscious influences are always strong}. Having this fear in relationships would also reflect your early life environment since what you witnessed in her weak personality was in the relationship with your father {and perhaps men in general}.

You are a brave one indeed when following your heart. Especially in a culture that is so masculine dominated and where women in particular are not supposed to show such bravado. I will quote my spiritual mentor when it comes to following your true path:

“If you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.”
― Joseph Campbell

I have found this to be true in my life. Doors opened so many times when I saw only barriers. It is almost as difficult in the US to be your true self since our culture is so corrupt politically and corporations have a strangle hold on our lives, most Americans have little desire to be their 'authentic' selves. Having cast off social duty as the guide in my life I have been discovered my true calling {dreams}. It does seem the one common thread for both of us in achieving Nirvana fits with another quote from Campbell. He said, 'Nirvana is a psychological state of mind where you are indifferent to fear, desire and social duty.' Seems in both our cultures most can't get past social duty let alone fear and desire {psychological}.

Stay the path dear girl. I admire your strength and determination.
