Read the following. Posted Dreams follows.

Dreams are a succession of images, actions and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind primarily during the REM stage of sleep. Dreams are unbiased, spontaneous products of the unconscious, outside the control of conscious will. The act of dreaming is physical but the contents of dreams is psychological. They are NATURAL expressions of the dreamer's emotional/personal life illustrating experiences that possess strong emotional energies. Although there are literal applications in dreams the primarily language is symbolic, metaphorical of the dreamer's emotional energies.
  • 1. Dreams are about the emotions, emotional energies of the person who is dreaming. They offer advice and a deeper understanding of our waking life as well as the foundations for the emotional energies of the dreamer.

  • 2. The language of dreams is symbolic, but also with literal applications {literal waking experinces}. The symbolic images and actions are metaphors for the patterns or motifs for the dreamer's emotional/psychological/physical life. Every character in a dream is a different aspect of an unacknowledged aspect of the dreamer and/or a prevalent situation in the person's life involving actual persons/experiences {dreams will address both aspects}.

  • 3. The purpose and function of dreams is to guide the conscious self to achieve wholeness and offer a solution to the problems in waking life. Solutions to problems and conflicts from everyday life, as well as the deeper underlying issues, 'emotional injuries' that stem from the foundations of the dreamer {early life experiences and trama experiences in life}.
---Dreams reveal vital information that expose the authentic emotions and feelings that are often concealed from the conscious mind.
---Dreams compensate for conscious attitudes and personality traits that are out of balance.

  • 4. Dreams are intentional. Nature provides us with dreams to understand and help heal emotional conflicts/issues. Just as the body has the immune system to heal and protect, the psych{ology} has the dream.

  • 5. Dreams possess 'Archteypal' representations. Archetypes are universal, original patterns and images that derive from the collective unconscious and are the psychic counterpart of instinct. An archetype is an inherited tendency of the human mind to form representations of mythological motifs-representations of the symbolic images/actions without losing their basic emotional pattern. Dreams and mythology share the same archetypal images, myths as illustrations of the universal patterns and dreams as illustrations of personal patterns.

  • 6. All dreams have at least two meanings or applications. One is the symbolic representation metaphorical of the emotional energies and the second being a literal application where a person, place or experience is addressing a real life experience. My crush had a picture of me

Hi. Recently I started dreaming a lot of dreams connected with photos and photography. In most of them I am the photographer but yesterday I had a weird really nice dream but I couldn't find the meaning. So I have one boy who I really love and he is my classmate. My dream was that we were in school and I went to him to tell him something and he showed me his phone. On the wallpaper there was my picture and I felt really emotional. I told him to go out of the room because I really wanted to hug him. I really hope that this dream indicates that we gonna get together. Also another cool dream with him was before like 2 days when I was bathing with him in a waterfall. I checked the meaning and it was written that we will love each other and gonna be happy togehter.
please help me understand the dream with the picture.

    Helloworld,
I'll analyze your dream in the morning using the dream dictionaries {as I have been doing over the past year instead of my usual method}. I have found both methods work equally well. I do assume you are female correct? It is important when analyzing dreams.

Re: My crush had a picture of me

    Helloworld,
Took a quick look at your post. Don't know where you found an interpretation bathing in a waterfall with the boy meaning
you love each other and gonna be happy together but it isn't a proper interpretation. Dreams don't predict, they compensate {what you unconsciously/consciously know}. Look at the Power of Dreams Dictionary to get a correct interpretation for bathing {bath} and waterfall. Dreams do deal with desires and bathing usually represents a cleansing/releasing of emotions. I would think a better interpretation would be a desire on your part you release to the guy your true emotions toward him. The phone in the dream you posted would represent {in one application meaning} communication {I'll provide a full analyze of the whole dream in the morning}. And wallpaper is something you use to cover up your true self {emotions}. There may be barriers {walls} in expressing your true feelings to him {or possibly to yourself}. Is there a pattern emerging here?

Re: My crush had a picture of me

    helloworld,
The dream is addressing your feelings toward your crush as well as issues with insecurities that come from childhood. The insecurity issues also point to being able to express yourself in general. All dreams have at least two meanings/application and this dream is no different. This one has at least three. Focusing on current emotional energies, the energies related to your early life foundations {reasons for your insecurities} and in general your insecurities in being able to express yourself in general.

As for your current emotions related to your crush, it is addressing the strong feelings toward him that you need to express to him. Have you done this? The dream seems to be saying no. Your insecurities may {and probably} stem from early life relationships with men {in particular with your father}. You lack the strength {masculine traits} to express yourself to your crush as well as being able to express yourself in general. That would stem from experiences in early life in relationship with a male which more often than not is the father. Does this fit?

    Amplification of Images/Actions/Symbols
Title: My crush had a picture of me
    -crush-your current infatuation with him
more from Dream Dictionary-If you dream of your crush frequently or that your crush likes you back, then your dream maybe be telling you that it is time to let this person know how you feel, especially if you are dreaming of her or him in a good way. Only good things can happen from you telling your crush. Even if he or she is not interested, at least you can move on and stop wasting time on her or him. You have these feelings for him but are covering them up {wallpaper}, you have not expressed them to him. You need to express yourself

-picture of me-how you see yourself/a mental imprint that remains persistent in your mind

    Dream Contents
    First Sentence
-we were in school-feelings of inadequacy and childhood insecurities that have never been resolved {this is addressing two levels of your life-foundationsas well as current experiences
-went to tell him something-a need to make a move in expressing yourself
-he showed me his phone-using strength {masculine aspects} to express what you have been avoiding

    Second Sentence
-on the wallpaper-what you are covering up inside
-there was my picture-a mental imprint that remains persistent in your mind
-felt really emotional-a way for you to act out the feelings that you normally would not express if you were awake

    Third Sentence
    -told him go out of room-lacking particular masculine aspects/pushing masculine aspects out {related to early life foundations/a real male person}
-wanted to hug him-desire to embrace masculine aspects

    Additional Amplification of Images
    bathing with him in waterfall
    -bathing-cleansing
    -waterfall-letting go. releasing or a need to release all those pent up emotions {positive and negative feelings}

Re: My crush had a picture of me

Hi! I am so grateful about your answer! So now I gonna explain u better the situation. So with this boy before 3 years we were really good friends, everyone was thinking that he likes me so I 'fell'' in a trap and decided to confess him.He rejected me and hurt me a lot but then I was able to move on. If you are asking now ''What is this stupid girl doing'' then I can't really answer you. He is my first love and I love him.... before several months his mum passed away and I see him that he is in a really bad mental condition and I want to help him. I forgave him everything and now since several months we became really good friends again. The school is just where we are right now and we are actually finishing school after 2 months. I read about the watterfall and the bathing from one dream interpretation site from my country. I really do have fears...but if I tell him that I am again in love with him, he gonna be really disappointed and he gonna give up on our friendship.I am not capable of going through the same suffering like before so I prefer to be by his side as a friend than to disappoint him. He is enough disappointed with his life and I don't want to make him even sadder. He literally confesses everything to me. We chat every single night. He cant even sleep...Sometimes I wake up at 4 am and i write him and then we chat until 6 am in the morning...

Re: My crush had a picture of me

    helloworld,
I appreciate the response. I can see how the analysis fits in relationship to the male friend you have strong feelings for. If you wish to comment on the deeper issues, the childhood experiences possibly involving the relationship with your father, I believe we will see how it fits that also.

Addressing the images and actions with your response. As I stated in my analysis the dream title often provides great insights into what the dream message is. My crush had a picture of me/translated 'how you see yourself/a mental imprint that remains persistent in your mind'. How you see the relationship which is a persistent emotional issue you are carry with you. Fits pretty well.

Literal applications. It is not unusual to have actual literal associations pinned in a dream. Not the norm in contrast to the symbolic application but occurs. The opening of being in school is both literal as well as metaphorical. You are now indeed in school with him. Of you look at your personal life and the interpretation of the school I believe you will find associations there as well. All dreams, all dream images have at least two meanings/applications.

A constant with the images and actions is the message of expressing your true feelings, using your masculine aspects to express what you have been avoiding. Your response, "if I tell him that I am again in love with him, he gonna be really disappointed and he gonna give up on our friendship." Again fits well with your true self.

"If I tell him that I am again in love with him...." You want to but have fears. My analysis of the desire/need to embrace masculine aspects to express your true feelings, that seems to fit well. As is the 'releasing or a need to release all those pent up emotions', that is the issue that is in conflict. The dream is attempting to help resolve that issue {as all dreams do}.

What is the answer to the conflict? The ending of the dream often provides clues to what that is. A need for a release of the pent up emotions. Whether that is the best solution is in debate. A conundrum in your waking life, "he gonna be really disappointed and he gonna give up on our friendship"/"I am not capable of going through the same suffering like before." The dream language seems to be addressing that specific. 'On the wallpaper there was my picture and I felt', translated into covering up your true feelings {wallpaper} and 'was my picture', a mental imprint that remains persistent in your mind and 'I felt really emotional', a way for you to act out the feelings that you normally would not express if you were awake {expressing your true self/feelings in the dream.

It is important to know I used the dream dictionaries to analyze your dream. And it worked. The reason I have designed the pages Interpreting Your Dreams Using A Dream Dictionary. The next you have instead of consulting astrology use these pages {and my dictionaries}.
