birth

I am 22 weeks pregnant with my second child, my first was born 7 weeks early. In my dream i had my baby, a girl, 10 weeks early and they wouldn't let me see the baby. When i woke i had quite severe stomach cramps. I told my partner later on in the day about it and he had almost an identical dream. This has really worried me and i feel not understanding this dream is causing me some distress

Re: birth

donna,
The dream may simply reflecting your fears about the impeding birth of your new baby. Since your first born was 7 weeks early such fears are common with your second child. The 10 weeks may have been from some stimulus in your waking life having to do with the number 10. Look back at the past several days prior to the dream and see if such events/experiences with the number 10 occurred. As for your husband having the same dream, that is not uncommon although it is not an everyday event. He too is probably experiencing the same concerns about the impending birth. Most likely the two of you have discussed these fears and concerns. The stomach cramps could be a result of these concerns and are causing stress which can cause such cramps.
The best thing to do is to talk to your doctor about your fears and do not worry. Whatever happens in your body, and mind, could have an effect on your baby. Stress is not good for either of you. So don't worry, be happy you are going to have a beautiful and healthy baby.

Re: birth

Thanks for your reply. I cannot think of anything in the past few weeks that could ahve signified the number 10, but your comments have put me more at ease. Thankyou
