vehicles in the dreams

Sometimes i have dreams where i travel by or use some vehicles.
Last night i had a dream in which i was riding a small children's bicycle (it was a bit too little for me). I rode around a big round flower-bed in the centre of my native town. I enjoyed this. The bicycle was given to me by some very familiar man.
Suddenly the man disappeared, and i decided to go home. On the way home i noticed that a huge truck was moving towards to the building of the editorial office where i worked long ago. The truck was carrying a many-storeyed building of a new shop - "Goods for Children". I went to see how the shop would be attached. I noticed the work was being done very badly, hastily.
I turned home from this place and found out that my bicycle had broken. I couldn't repair it and felt guilty. Then somebody's voice told me that i could write a letter of complaint to the producer of the bicycle - in my dream the bicycle was produced in the Socialist Germany (in the Eastern part of it).
I wonder what this bicycle could stand for...
And what other objects in this dream mean. It is a disturbing dream...

Re: vehicles in the dreams

hi
the flower bed in the centre of your native town could be a symbol of the self,
viewed from above it would look like a mandala.
the cycle could be a throwback to your childhood days,
i was reminded of jesus's words,
unless you become as a little child you cannot enter the kingdom,
the dream could be dealing with your desire to return to such a state,

the broken cycle ,do you feel you have lost the capacity to be as a child,(have fun etc)through no fault of your own,i ask this because,
socialist germany would be a good metaphor for a thou shalt system,(controlling figures etc)
are you going where your heart and soul want to go,or do you need to stand up for your rights and gain your independance.(in germany the wall came down ,and unity took place )
or on a more mundane level, you could just be conscerned with the workmanship of some imported childrens goods, especially if you are a mother.

a few things for you to ponder.
regards steve

Re: vehicles in the dreams

I have pondering over this dream all day yesterday and came to the following conclusions.
The bicycle in my dream was too little for me - i interpret it like i am doing things which are too "little", inadequate for me while i am capable of more mature actions (or way of actions).
The man presented my animus, he gives me this power of moving in my life.
As i ride myself - it is a positive sign showing that i can rule my life myself, not depending on anybody.
The editorial office in my dream presents my inner "ideological head-quarters". The fact that i am trying to merge two quite different things like ideology and the childish world (I have no children)may reflect my current state of things - i am writing articles for my site and meanwhile i do pictures/paintings as an artist.
Steve, your thoughts on what i can do as a child without feeling guilt or obligation - that's quite to the point! Thank u! This is my "disease" - to be over-resposible, workaholic...

Re: Re: vehicles in the dreams

hi,
looks like you have the gist of it,
honouring our inner child can be very theraputic,
finding the time to get in touch with this aspect of ourselves is the difficult bit,
having your own kids is a great way to express it.
your art work is another way.
keep going.
regards steve.
