S14 Front Engine Mount

Hello folks. My S14 has been apart for so long I have forgotton which way the front engine mount goes. It's the foreward engine mount the presses against the spring and has the hood mounts. I see wear marks on the mount from the spring. This tells me the spring/mount relationship. But there are no wear marks on the frame to tell me which way the assembly went as a whole. Does the spring assist the engine moving foreward or rearward? Any help would be appreciated.

Spring pushes the engine back.
