Which S-series had the 4 speed transaxle?

My dad had an early S17. My uncle also had a Speedex S-series which we inherited 25 years ago. We sold both of them years ago when my dad passed away. I just bought back my uncle's S series. Unfortunately, the series decals are long gone. Can you tell me which S series had the 4 speed transaxle?
