Just wondered how things are going and how we can speed things up!

I should read more of your story before asking this really, but do you have jobs over there, or are you moving and then taking it from there?

We have a house over there which we visit in all the long school holidays (is awful to leave evertime!!!), we have a car, we found the school for the kids (the yellow bus picks up right outside the door!!!!)

We have two young children, hubby is a lawyer (who has to requalify if he wants to practice law there) but ideally we want to move there, then take some time to explore the country, THEN think about jobs and/or setting up a business, etc.

How frustrating is the timescale!! What other office would get away with putting a client 'on hold' for three years before then opening the file and starting the process!??

Grrr.

You seem quite upbeat though so you inspired me to contact you for any tips you may feel you can share with me (please oh please!)

Firstly I am sooo sorry fornot replying to you sooner. I have been somewhat preoccupied at work of late (trying to keep my mind busy and succeeding rather too well it would appear!) SO. your questions - no, no jobs, we'll just land and explore and take it from there!!
Wow!! you have a house overthere already??? How exciting is that? How long have you had it? So it's going to be a really easy transition for you since you will already know everyone etc. Fantastic! Where is it?
Whereabouts in the queue are you? When are yu planning to be able to makethe final move?? Tell me everything!!! I'm so curious that you already have your house etc!!
