- Unknown Stuntman
Well I'm not the kind to kiss and tell
But I've been seen with Farrah
I've never been with anything less than a nine so fine
I've been on fire with Sally Fields
Gone fast with a girl named Bo
But somehow they just don't end up as mine
It's a death defyin' life I lead
I take my chances
I'd die for a livin' in the movies and TV
But the hardest thing I ever do
is watch my leadin' ladies
kiss some other guy while I'm bandaging my knees
I might fall from a tall building
I might roll a brand new car
'caus I'm the unknown stuntman
That made Redford such a star
I never spent much time in school
But I taught ladies plenty
It's true I hire my body out for pay
I've gotten burned over Cheryl Tiegs
Blown up for Raquel Welch
But when I end up in the hay it's only hay hey hey
I might jump an open drawbridge
Or tarzan from a vine
'caus I'm the unknown stuntman
That makes Eastwood look so fine
They'll never make me president
But I got the best first ladies
Some days I've got 'em far as the eye can see
A morning dive with Jackie Smith
I crash in the night with Cheryl
But in the end they never stay with me
I might fall from a tall building so Burt Reynolds don't get hurt
I might leap a mighty canyon so he can kiss and flirt
While that smooth talker's kissin' my girl I'm just kissin' dirt
Yes I'm the lonely stuntman
That made a lover out of Burt

Go to the IMdB, do a search for Lee Majors. Click on the TVography: Le Majors title under combined listings. Under this is the link address to the biography site page for Lee Majors.
(Sounds complicated, in truth it takes around 2 seconds to action).
On the TVography site page is a link to a fallguy site with words to the lyrics, and several versions of the opening song.
Uh, it's the lyrics from the show. Someone wrote it for the Fall Guy, Lee sang it. The show started around 1981? I copied it from another baord where Lee fans were talking about the lyrics. Someone else posted it. I copied it and posted it here. If you want to know more, I suggest you do a search. The song can be found in a number of places on the WWW. No copyright infringement was intended and if I did infringe, well, I offer my humblest apologies. Will that work? If not, then perhaps we can ask Cubster to remove this thread.
