Good Evening, Since another "lengthened" racetrack on I-10 is raising the prices and not allowing "pets", I wsa wondering if Angleton might be interested in a Street Stock Points Program on Friday nights. I'd drive the extra miles to participate in a trophy and points program if you would consider staging such a class for us "less fortunate" low buck street guys. Just wondering and have a great new year!

Okay, after doing some research on the Angleton website, it is listed for a Street Stock program. Now, is this going to continue in 2007, and could it run like more than 5 events, say run on the first Friday of the month for points starting in March and run through October? Just an idea, something to ponder, I would be extremely interested in this format. I might even drag out the old whatever it was that I used to race to get in this points program. Thanks for considering this idea. Hey if ya'll need a "poetential" sponsor for this, I might be able to drum up some support for this, let me know.

i haven't heard a word yet if Angleton raceway is even going to re open this year or not, its sad, there message board is non existant and Nancy has tried to find out with no success... i would like to hear more from Lonestar, (T.W. are you out there?) I'm not sure what their sched is either... If and when I hear something i'll post it ASAP..

Jack on LSMP message board you can go to http://lsmp.phpbbnow.com/viewtopic.php?t=219 there is a flyer with the dates for their bracket series. On original flyer it has Feb 10 as 1st race but it has changed to Feb 3rd. Hope this helps.
