any news on a possible opening date?

the track has been scraped , both lanes from start to finish and cracks sealed.. stands have been painted and the track equipment repaired.. they are waiting on the owner to send out crews to repair track.. no date on opening yet.. jack

They started working on repairing the track itself today. I think a realistic date would be the first of April. When I get a confirmed date from the manager,I will post on the board!!!!

Nancy, you know that there is a race at HRP every weekend of April, right?

We have to get the races in some time. It's really nice not to book on top of other races, but with 4 track's within 100 miles of each other it's going to be very hard not too on a few of them.

Yea I know. I would rather run Angleton anyway. I am not much into 1/4 mile anymore. I like that short track. Maybe Nancy wn't schedule any Angleton races that ovelap 1/8 HRP races. I don't mind missing any 1/4 mile races.

Shouldn't overlap with any HRP bracket races, HRP runs their program on Saturdays. Last I heard Angleton was gonna run on Friday nights.

I haven't seen anything official about changing to Saturdays, just the late nights on Fridays was a concern for some. So I guess I'll just have to take all ya'll out real quick so you can go home.

They finished the area before the waterbox and are working on finishing up the shutdown area. When they finish that,they are going to seal all the asphalt areas. It is still being discussed what day we will run our bracket program. When a final decision is made I will post our bracket schedule.
