Heads up class ideas...q8 format

Here are some ideas I've had for some economical heads up classes for the local tracks...

same payout:

Win: $1,000
R/U: $600
Semi: $400
Qualify: $250
No entry.
Total Purse: $3400
340 spectators @ $10 head to pay for field.

With this payout scale you could offer a different forms of heads up racing.

Potential classes:
Auto Pro Mod-
Anything with doors and a torque converter. No screw blowers. No power adders can run clutch.

Outlaw Pro Comp-
Dragsters, Altereds, Door Cars (Pro Mods)...whatever. Run whatcha brung heads up.
If someone were to run quicker than 3.95 individual performance restrictions would be applied (ie less overdrive). Something to that effect to keep a car from coming in and dominating.

True 10.5?
Not the big purse they're used to, possibly get more of the middle of the pack guys out.

XTreme 10.5
Only rule is 10.5w tire.

FORMAT:
2 qualifiers
45 minutes b/t rounds
sportsman ladder

This purse isn't designed to draw out the big hitters with a big top heavy purse for the winner. Rather, it's to ensure you get 8 decent cars for a heads up show. You show up, no entry fee and qualify, you put $250 in your pocket. It also creates classes to race for some fast hot rods out there that may not conform or be competitive in existing heads up venues.

A track could concievably have heads up racing every weekend like this. One week, Auto Pro Mods, next the Outlaw Pro Comp, next True Tens, etc. These classes don't necessarily need to be stand alone shows.

Just some ideas.
