We will be open 3 Friday's a month and 1 Saturday. We will have our 1 st bracket race on Saturday, Feb. 28th, that will give us 7 races for the 2009 season. I will try to get the schedule posted this week.

Saturday bracket racing was a good move,now hopefully the rest of the races after feb 28th wont be stacked on top of the S&S index races at HMP.

Well hopefully HMP will run the SNS on the second Saturday of the month again and someone will look at HRPs bracket schedule before setting our schedule. I think they will they did it last year.

Chris S&S schedule been out since end of last year. They have a race that was called early for weather to make up and also the 1 pts race of year same day. We'll see what the rest of the schedule looks like and make a decision from that.

The reason for racing the 28th is I wanted to get in as many rounds as possible. I need to let Ricky look at the schedule Saturday, then I will post it. I can tell you that HMP is closed every Saturday we will race.. and Baytown had other things going on!!!

Sweet. Well maybe I should have been more specific when I asked why the 28th. I was wondering why the SNS was on the 28th when normally they run on the second Saturday of the month. Nancy HRP and SNS have both their schedules posted. HRP's is posted on the Houston Raceway Park website calender upto September. Hey I think ya'll have done great getting us Saturdays and I plan on being at all of them. I was wondering on some more info about SSS and fees.

Lance, I've been mostly index racing at HMP, i've had way more fun indexing than bracket racing!!! I might see you at ARP on the 28th, but there is an SNS index at HMP on that day also. Hey Paul Smith, we're are going on the 28th? David W

JMO now is the time to promote, Have a special single day spectator price? Angleton bucks to the kids, all kids like to spend money; A small discount for attendance. bring a new racer to the track, Mail flyers to all who filled out Tech cards in the past.
what I am getting at is the economy sucks, now is the time for some creative thinking. how about dialing for dollars.

Excellent idea George!!!!!!! Dial in for dollars for each class on 3rd time trial. Closest to dial gets potential bye 1st rd of each class and some cash! Some of the small things go along ways.

HEY Just daydreaming, Almost everyone entered buys back after the first round loss. How about a loosers race for the second round loosers. Small entry like a jackpot thing, more money to the track and less talk of what they lost.

Great ideas George. Be sure to write them down and bring them to the track so we can gang up on the management and twist their arms. ;)

I will be happy to make and/or mail fliers out, courtesy of CamBird Racing. I'll just need the list of names and addy's.

Maybe the track could run a 50/50 to make more money or the team could if the track doesnt want to and that money could go towards the team for bracket finals team money. Hell it could be enough to help pay for trophies, plaques, and food for the next banquet.

I may make a couple of races this year, but with the economy and work schedule. I am gonna have to pick my races wisely. Last year was great and a blast, but put alot of passes on my motor. Good luck to all this year and see yall at the races.
