Bracket Racing TEXAS Style
How much is it to race in the S&S Index Races for the 7.50 class? And how much is it to Win? RU? Semis? Also is there a points system or just race by race for money and thats it? If there is a points system what does the winner get at the end of the year? 2nd? 3rd?

If the points system is same as last year it is based on how many cars entered in points it cost $50.00 to enter. Entry fee was 60.00 and payout for 7.50 class was also based on car count. Come on out and try it out the more supporters the better the payout.
ok thanks. i may give it a shot, got a little bit more work to do first though since im only 7.60 car on average.
what time do they start index race etc?
Bump! Thinkin about going this time but need to know what time the gates open?
Oh and also does anybody know how many cars showed up for the last race and what the payout was for them?
Brian, I copied this off the SnS web site, looks like FOURTEEN 7.50 cars signed up for the points, so at least that many raced in the class..
gates open at next event at 12.00 noon and T.T. start at 2.00.... check out rules and points below..........
S/S Racing Index Rules
* Door Cars Only.
* Any Combinations Allowed at any Weight.
* No Throttle Stops Allowed in Car.
* No Delay Boxes Allowed in Car.
* Any devices which apply to the electronic timing keyed to the christmas tree lighting system itself-that are not connected by relay or otherwise so as to automatically activates any devices on the car necessary to place the car in motion at the start of a race are PROHIBITED
* No Deep Staging.
* .400 Pro Tree for All Index Classes.
* Times Will Be Posted.
* Two Qualifying Rounds.
* All Racers Required to Make at Least One Qualifying Pass.
* There are No Time Trials once qualifying begins
* Eliminations are All Run.
* #1 Qualifier to Receive Bye Run if Odd # of Cars in 1st Round.
* Competitors will be paired up with lane assignments by card draw.
* If Double Breakout - Car Breaking Out the Least Wins.
* Courtesy Staging is in effect.
* No Racing Radios at all (Voted against by Drivers Oct. 20, 2007)
* Nitrous Controllers are allowed for controlling the nitrous only.
* No street tires
