Channel 2 did a nice piece on Jack Sr. on the news this afternoon. Looks like he was getting a jump on the competition at Angleton this year!!! Nice to see something good on the news for a change.

Cool, I don't get home until 7. Did you happen to tape it? Would like to see it.

I didn't tape it, and I looked on Channel 2's website last night and it wasn't there. It may be there now, haven't had a chance to look.

Channel 2 is coming back out on the 28th to do some more filming of Jack sr. doing his burnout and blasting down the track. They also did a enterveiw with Nancy , talking to her about the track and schedule...

Jack sr. was a little shy at first , and then he really started to ham it up. I'm really proud of him..

I was told the next segment will be aired on Sports Sunday on channel 2, March 1st @ 10.30 pm.. I will post a definate time asap...

One of the guys here at work just came in my office asking if I know him, that he had seen the piece on the news yesterday about the oldest drag racer racing at the track in Angleton. I was very proud to say yes I do know him and I have had the honor to be in the other lane racing with him, and I also know that he's one of the best.

Go Jack Sr GO ! ! !
