Hey Wow, what a wonderful opening night at Angleton. Nice to see some really fast cars out at the track, total count (unofficially) 82 combo with street cars, motorcycles, and even a couple of fast cars.
But now for the rumor, Channel 2 News is rummored to be showing up at Angleton to do a sports story on one or our driver or drivers from the same family. hmmmm lets throw the trivia in.......who is the remarkable 91yr old Gentlemen that enjoys the sport and will be filmed at the track?

Oh, Ricky is trying to find the maintenance company that works on the score boards to troubleshoot the Right Lane Scoreboard, seems to come on when it wants to. Thanks to the couple of guys that brought your old slicks in and if anyone else would like to donate, it would be appreciated.
Tim, Maybe the next time you talk to Rick you might mention a sign at the entrance booth, promoting the next scheduled bracket race, all you would have to do is change the date from time to time. It would not have to be expensive and could also mention that test and tuners are also welcome. There might have been promotion on the P.A. But I did not hear it.
