NOTES FROM THIS PAST WEEKEND AT ANGLETON RACEWAY

Well other than the weather, cold and windy, I'd say it was a good showing at the little track. Considering the elements and the SnS race going on, most of the usaul suspect were there to support, even seen some newbies...

It was good to see Ronnie Speers in his footbrake vette, and Mike Hurta trying his hand at bracket racing and going to the 3rd rd. Also my neighbor David Boggs, who is a converted dirt racer to bracket racer was there. David is a VP racing fuel vendor.

Jay decided to put his old motor back in the Nova late Friday nite .He worked on it all nite, only to have ignition problems, hopefully new motor will be ready soon.

On the otherhand, my Cuda was running strong and I was having a lot of fun racing again. I counted about eleven Mopars out there , hale yea!!!

I got to see my dad, Jack Sr. on channel 2 Sports Sunday. Nice enterview with Nancy,I hope it helps spread the word some about the track. Anyways, I had a good time, had a BBQ samich, the track hooked good for me at least, and it looks like it's gonna be a good year....congrates to all the finalist, and please get some ink for the printer.LOL.

Jack
