I am sure that this has been brought up before. But Saturday was realy BAD! PLEASE slow down in the parking lot. I would hate to have anyone run over and hit by a fast moving car coming down return road. Even a Jr dragster was going to fast. If a car backed out and the Jr run underneath that would be bad. People walking around everywhere looking at all the nice cars. RACE on the dragstrip not the parking lot.. SLOW DOWN !!
Back in about 02, I was at HRP when this punk was driving around like a fool, ran into my car and basically totalled it out. Fought with his insurance co for 3 weeks. They fixed the car. Was real lucky on that one.
I Would like to ask all drivers to do me a favor. I know that You guys are the ones that sees what goes on in the pits and parking lot. If you could notify someone in the tower or me personally, I assure you that this matter will be addressed immediately.
We try to provide a safe place for you guys to participate at and will strive to continue to provide that.
Again please do not hesitate to contact the tower or myself and will make sure that this safety issue is addressed immediately.
It was probably our Jr. dragster and I will talk to my daughter about that, but if it was the instance that I seen, the person crossing the road wasn't looking when they crossed from one pit to another and walk right in front of my daughter. People need to pay attention when crossing over also.
I'am not sure who it was, never the less we need to slowdown in the pit area. This was posted not to point fingers but to keep someone from getting hurt. Be it a racer or spectator.... Have a safe holiday............ Thanks
