Belle Rose update

reporting from friendly and beautiful Donaldsonville, LA.

Friday there was rain all around us , But the sun was shining at the track, crazy...

pretty good car count considering the weather forcast, we expect more cars today..

Bart Nelson, Brian Nelson and family are here, the Eddie League gang, John Winn went down to 5 cars last nite in no box, Robert Penn, David Lissman, Stephen Hughes and Donnie Burlesson, and Jay and myself..

Jay almost did it last nite , went down to 3 cars. Should of womped the trottle one more time, he lost to Country Dog, who ended up wining the race...

70% chance of rain today, but so was yesterday. hopefully we can race!!!!

Re: Belle Rose update

Stephen Hughes kicked butt saturday, made it to the final round of the $50,000 race , took runner up after the rain , then came back that evening to win the run for the dragster!!!!

Bobby Roberto Gregory was there and young
Brian Day showed up Sat.

Houston racers made 4 a good showing so far.

Jay made it down to 5 cars yesterday, 3 cars friday. I think today he will pull it off for a win, and he said he's gonna run electronics today also...

all in all it's been a good weekend, free jambalya and white beans yesterday, and we're having a gooooood ol time.......
