Long time member of Beat The Heat and an avid Drag Racer, Houston Police Officer Henry Cannales was shot and killed in an undercover operation last night. Our hearts and prayers go out to Henry's family. He will be sorely missed both at our Beat The Heat events and at Houston Raceway Park where he and his kids experienced many fun moments. Henry was dedicated to Beat The Heat and to the sport of drag racing.

OFFICER CANNALES WAS A REGULAR AT HRP AND HEAVILY INVOLVED WITH HIS CHILDREN IN THE JR DRAGSTER CATORGORY AND ALSO RACED IN FOOTBRAKE HIMSELF.
