I attended the track operators meeting this Sunday morning regarding the completion of the team finals.

(this only pertains to the remaining participants)


The purse will be distributed to each track, according to how many participants they still have remaining in competition. A runoff of the final Angleton racers will be ran at Angleton raceway, and one winner in each category will move on to race in the finals at Red Line.

As of now the remaining final team eliminations will be held at Red Line Raceway in Caddo Mills, near Dallas on Sunday, November 15th. There you will run for the Iron Man trophy and IHRA silver Card.

Nancy and I will be contacting all remaining racers to discuss final details.

Any word on what they are going to do with the JR Race of Champions?

from what I understand, they are going to run the Jr. ROC ,and also finish the Jr team finals race. There was a lot of suggestions thrown around in a short period of time yesterday, and thats how it was explained to me..

I'm going to e mail Frank this week to make sure all is correct. We will send one winner back to Red Line from each class, decided by a runoff at Angleton,so we will send off a winner in TOP,MOD Jr. and the Jr. (track champ) to run the ROC.

As I said , Nancy and I will contact all that are involved, I hope this sheds some lite as for now.
