This event is our first points race of the 2010 season, thus you will get qualified for the 2010 NHRA Bracket Finals by racing here. I realize most drivers would like to race for their home track (Houston Raceway Park); however, you can have Edinburg as a back-up plan. There are a lot of tough drivers in the Houston area and if you miss a points weekend at HRP and/or have car problems at another—the chances of making the HRP team become difficult.
