After announcing Tuesday that this coming Saturday's and Sunday's event would be canceled, the following press release was just posted on the front page of AHRA's website.

SAN ANTONIO RACE CANCELLED DUE TO UNSTABLE WEATHER
May 20th, 2010 11:10 P.M. PST
The AHRA Reunion Tour race to be held at San Antonio Raceway May 22-23rd was cancelled due to extreme unstable weather patterns in Texas and the surrounding states.
AHRA and Desert Thunder Raceway fought off tornados and torrential rainfall last weekend realizing that roads were unsafe and impassable for out-of-town participants and spectators to attend.
At the time this decision was made we were receiving reports that areas near and around San Antonio had received 11 to 14 inches of rain and the extended forecast was calling for a 60% chance of showers and thunder storms during the scheduled event.
We will be working with San Antonio management in an attempt to re-schedule this race. We hope to have an update on the status of this race next week.

Hmm...
Has AHRA hired Pinocchio to write their press releases?
If the forecasts below are "UNSTABLE WEATHER", AHRA had better call off the rest of the season's races right now and begin looking for a domed stadium to host their "Reunion Tour" events.
