Applauding Angleton Racetrack Staff!

When I rolled into Angleton Saturday afternoon I knew things were bad because the ditches were holding two foot of water. When I got to the racetrack it was basically the same! I will tell you this, I have raced at MANY tracks in many states and I have never in my life seen a track crew get a track together the way they did! I walked on the track and the track had water pooled all the way down. I asked a track guy, "Hey ya think it's gonna happen?" He immediatley replied "Oh, it's gonna happen, don't you worry, we will make it happen. Two hours later, bam! we were racing!

Not only does this say alot for character and loyality of the track crew, but it reflects on the type of owners and operators of this track. Everyone should know "no other track around would have went to so much trouble to get a track ready for test and tune knowing another storm was coming in several hours! My hat is certainly off to them and they have earned my business 100%!

Thank you for the experience!

Yes, my hat is off to track also. Didn't think it was going to happen! They did a great job! We got to test a new car , the boys got a feel of the car safely! Got few laps on it, next time we can let it rip!
Hope the benefit went well, out thought's out to the family.............
Thanks to the track & crew for their hard work...
