TEAM BRACKETRASH DOWN BUT NOT OUT

Well the world of bracket racing has many sides, right now we're experiencing the not so good side.

Both my cars suffered engine damage this weekend. Jay's Nova dropped an intake valve, trashing the head/piston.. not sure yet on other damage, It was my only set of big chevy heads..

Jay took the small blk out of retirement and it will be running this weekend for Angletons race.

The Cuda has wiped out a main thrust bearing for some reason. Matt has pulled the engine, crank will come out and hopefully welded successfully and ready to go by HRP double points race.

Last week we changed the converter in the Nova, and the week before that, we broke a rocker arm at HRP, (thanks Daryl Patton for the spare)..Throw in my pit scooter took a poo-poo on me last month..(thanks to Joey Cram I'm riding and not walking).

I suppose this happening during a heated points chase, at two tracks, has made it very interesting to say the least !! We will be back soon ready to get it on again. Jack
