PLEASE HELP! I LOST MY RACE CAR AT THE ANGLETON TRACK ! I THINK ITS IN THE WEEDS SOMEWHERE. IF ANYONE FINDS IT, PLEASE DRAG IT OUT AND PUT IT ON THE HIGHWAY... THANKS SPEEDO

Lets not kick poor ole Angleton in the teeth just because its down right now. There are people that work there that try real hard to keep the gates open for us to have a place to race, and also have a bracket program that allows us to go to the team finals ....thank you Nancy.

Lets face it Angleton Raceway Mgn. has never really had much of a budget to do much in the way of improvments in last few years, they also had a big set back last year when they had several thousand dollars worth of equipment stolen that has not been able to be replaced. Ike did it's share also.

Yes, I can say that I'm not happy about the way the track is looking right now, but there may be a possibility that someone may buy the property one day and bring it back to were it was or even better. Until that happens I hope we all can support the track on fridays test n tune nite and the Sat bracket program.

Lets stop throwing rocks and start showing an interest in keeping it alive and operating. Angleton Raceway is the only small "hometown" tracks in our area, and I've had many of good times there, lets keep it going.

COME ON! PICKING UP TRASH / TRASH BARRELS , AS A SPECTATOR YOU CAN'T SEE THE WIN LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TRACK...
WE CAN BOTH GO ON BACK AND FORTH WITH THIS ! THE BOTTOM LINE IS TO KEEP A LOCAL TRACK OPEN. ITS NOT UP TO ME TO ASK FOR HELP IF THE TRACK MANAGEMENT WANTS HELP THEN PLEASE SET SOMETHING UP TO GET HELP TO CLEANUP THE TRACK!
AND TO THE ONES WORKING THE TRACK THANKS VERY MUCH! THANKS FOR THEIR TIME AND THE LOVE OF THE SPORT TO BE OUT THERE IN THE HOT TEXAS SUN.....

Not disagreeing with you weed, the track is in bad need of a major clean up. I'm just trying to stir up a positve attitude. Thank you for posting on bracketrash, and please try and find your wife..lol

Ok guys I agree, you dont kick something or someone when they are down. But I have an Ideal while the track is closed. Why dont we try to get a bunch of us together with weed killer, trash bags, tractors to mow or anything we can do as "FRIENDS" "SPECTATORS" AND "DRAGRACERS" to help cleanup and fix and repair things. We all do things for people when in need and our track has never been in a more needy situation until now. Its just my opinion but we all like using the facilities so why dont we all try to make a day one weekend soon and do some bar b queing and just do a little much needed TLC to the track.
