I Just want to thank everyone who have supported us this past two years. We have made so many new friends.Those who came to our help when my sister was dying and you didn't even know her, then the ones who helped our team for the bracket finals.It has been a tough year trying to keep the track going,but we did the best we could,with the money we had to put out.I am not blaming anyone for the track closing,as someone suggested.Most of you don't have an idea what it takes to operate a track,but we did our best. I feel like mother hen losing her chicks. This is hard. I love you all and hate it for our employees also. I don't know what the Lord has in store for us.HE probably tells us to retire,but I just can't see not doing that. I hope someone buys the track so you guys and gals can keep racing there. It is a great track.There will be lots of changes coming for tracks,I am afraid. I hear that Abilene is closing,motorplex is not going to do any bracket racing, Kennedale same thing, Houston Raceway only going to have five races,with two each day.I know a lot of you have heard that we are working with Crandall to run the bracket program there,but nothing complete yet. But whatever we do,I wish the best for all of you. Hope to see most of you at the Thanksgiving race.If we do go somewhere,I hope most of our crew will go with us. Rick,you were great as our starter and I know you were proud of your track prep,Jan and Allen words can't express how much we have grown to love you two,just like our family and you seemed to really enjoy your jobs.James, you took some flack,but you continued to do your jobs,water box and lanes,Tim,ems,could always depend on you and you fell right in with our family.Dink,Jasper,Angie was glad we always had you to depend on for whatever we needed you to do.Steve,ems,for doing whatever job we needed you for,when you was able to work,always grateful for you. Michele good job on the computer and the racers loved you,except Rick.lol Well I will quit (for now). Feel like Dalene gave me one of those special pills.lol But I am sad for all my racing family,we will miss you all. We all had good times and bad times,but in the end I think everyone worked together really well.Hope I didn't miss anyone.Oh wanted to thank Glen Allen for coming to our rescue with his wrecker many times.
