Okay all you diehard racers I need all of those that are going to come out for the 'hangover nats" to e-mail me your name car number or type class you will run in (no/e,Top/E or Jr.) so i can start getting an idea of how many of you are really coming so i can let Bob know. We are going to work on all the details and I`ll have a list of your names so I can publish the payout ,entry fees and so on . Can we make this work? Oh hell yea ,I think friday through Sunday race will do. Friday say we start with a short gamblers race in each spot, then Sat have 2-3 rounds of time trials then race , then do the same on sunday . ARE WE TALKING ABOUT JAN 7,8,9.

I'm planning for January 1st & 2nd myself.

January 8th Saturday, is HRP banquet nite...I know it does'nt effect everyone, but usally a lot of the HRP racers will attend.

Hey Shane yes we are going to have the JRS scheduled for that weekend event also so bring as many as you want the more the merrier and every other racers you can think of , just e-mail me that you will attend.Need a head count in order have my staffing needs met.

No go for me if it is on Jan. 7th & 8th. I run the largest wrestling tounament in the state on that weekend at the Berry Center.

Gary appreciate the help, but the track needs to understand to get a commitment from people they will have to make a commitment. With nothing to advertise going to be hard to get racers excited. Some racers dont get on this board so they no nothing about it. Its hard for the racers to advertise a race for the track when the track hasn't mad up its mind what it wants to do. I am not complaining just we are running out of time to promote a race.

Gary If you post the schedule,classes,and a pay out (this could be tenative) the rest will take care of its self. If it were me I would post one weather delay date then call it over. I think you and the track will be suprised. I agree with the others it needs to be promoted NOW!!!

I ALSO AGREE WITH PAUL DO NOT WORY WIH THE COMMITMENT THING, IT IS NOT BINDING ANYHOW, JUST SCHEDULE IT.

i know that there is talk of a 3 day race but !!! if you want a good car count i think you would do better if you had a 1 day race.(SATURDAY).i think you would have a better turnout than you would if you tried having it over 3 days.most of those races there is a main race with 2 smaller races.why not just have 1 good race ?just a thought.

I agree with Eric, a three day race may be hard to cover with short notice and maybe probable weather.

Not sure how many will show on the 31st, and that leaves the track open for a financial hit. We went to Mobile Ala last year for a $5 grander, and buddy it was cold, pretty good car count and they raced sat and sunday only....May be safe to tip toe through this race, see how the car count is and plan on a spring race in march or so. just my opinion,

JUST PLAN THE THING ALREADY!!! SET A DATE, SO WE CAN MAKE PLANS, WHETHER IT BE 1 DAY, 2 DAY OR 3!,....JUST SET A DATE AND WE WILL COME! simple as that!!!!!!

Paul and some of the others are correct. There are some up this way (PVR) That more than likely would come and race but they want to know the particulars. And I don't know what to tell them

I really want more attention to atleast provide some well planned races for all . I have been asked about some races for the JRs like for a schools out summer bash and maybe a spring fling for all classes any ideas from you guys will be considered. I hate not having my lap top it was stolen and the home computer crashed so I have to use my phone , which sucks.

I have had several electronics guys asking if the Hang Over race will include them or if it's just a Big Footbrake race. I had no answers.

We are including all classes as listed in the beginning , Top/et , No/E, and JRs. Information about the race is coming . I will post as soon as I find out and check the lsmp web site reguarly.

Well I just got the word from the powers that be - I'm sorry to say that we will not be having a hangover nat. At this time . So my reputation as a organizer has been short lived I truely apoligize to all of you and hope that you all have not lost faith in me. I plan on taking any ideas about any races so we can plan something for the up coming year , again I thank all of you that would have participated and apologize for not making thiis happen.

Thank you Gary for your effort, I understand how things can go,and hopefully you can work with the racers and track ownership to have some races in spring or maybe sooner. I appreciate all you have done to try and get us a race... Happy Holidays
