Congratulations on first 'Wally'

At the age of 63, he's been drag racing for years. He's beat prostate csncer, and is now battling stomach cancer. He's been taking chemotherapy treatments for a few months now. Still, through all of this, he is one of the most positive men I am honored to know.
To a TRUE drag racer: Congratulations, Clark Barker on winning your first 'Wally' Sunday in Edinburg.

Re: Congratulations on first 'Wally'

Re: Congratulations on first 'Wally'

In some peoples minds I will be thought of as being out of line,...but, I must say what I feel,.."Congradulate, praise and honor" a man for his sheer determination, his commitment and dedication to the sport of racing. Hold him high, respect his achievements, tell the world how great of a racer he has become,......that is a great gesture on your part.

his private and personal matters,. anything but racing should be left to that man to speak or write about in a public forum.

Get mad at me all you want,...it just ain't right....

Re: Congratulations on first 'Wally'

A great win it was! every win is well deserved and tough to get. this week end Clark went through the field of tough cars from all over the state. and at the end he was holding the Wally. I have had the pleasure of parking in the pits next to Clark a time or two, you will never find a kinder person or better competitor. Congradulations on your win !
