Any more word from the lil birdie on the tracks fate?

I understand the track has been sold...but haven't heard a definant word on it yet...I was told they are going to run a bracket program in 2011. I would like to met the new owners and discuss the bracket program with them and try and set up some sort of schedule.. as soon as I find find out something you can bet I will post it ASAP.

Jack, I haven' heard anything lately on if the track purchase has been finalized, last I heard there was a "deal in place", but no funds had exchanged hands.

I have met the potential new owners, and they seem like great guys. I know that their plan was to put a lot of time into cleaning up the facility as well as putting some money into repairs. Hopefully everything will work out and we will all have a place to play in Angleton.

Tell them new owners to "throw out a little money for materials, WE, (I) can provide the LABOR! You would be surprised how fast a facility can get looking great with a hundred or so racers chipping in! I know 25 myself! lets keep our fingers crossed.....
