May have to do a search at the Austin County courthouse, I beleive that is were LSMP is seated, not sure. Find out who's paying the taxes on it and start your search for the owner, he must be reachable somehow.
I would think a realtor would also be able to locate the owner, if the property is for sale..
Well i'm going to suggest to you if interested in the purchase of the track to get in touch with the track director Bob Key his mobile @ 713-412-0433 and go from there. He will get you either in touch with the current owner or relay any info to him.
Well Shane the grounds need work and some of facility services need help but over all it wouldn't take much expence to bring it up to its glory days. I work there and might be a little prejudice .
Why don't some local business men step up and buy/ lease the place?
There are several very, very successful business men that are also "top notch racers!" These men have impectable reputations and character.
THIS IS WHAT WE NEED!, NOT LONG DISTANT TRACK OWNERS OR TRACK OPERATORS THAT ARE "IN THE DARK" ON WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON, OR EVEN THE RECENT TRACK OPERATORS/ OWNER OF QUESTIONABLE CHARACTER.
Now look! it's 2011, Obama will be gone next year, the economy is coming back so I have really thought about this. Now I need the below listed racers:

Just imagine owning your own track where you could race when, how and as often as you want! Imagine the crowd of racers that would be drawn to a a track owned by long time bracket racers!
P.S. Has anyone noticed that the other tracks have already posted 2011 schedules? do they know something we don't?
Fella's bracket racing/ index racing / sportsman racing for the small guy is coming back stronger than ever. People have just figured "the heck with it!" I will find a way to RACE!
