Not yet but nancy is workin on it and should have it done soon.Im hopin i get both my cuts since i won both elctronics annd footbrake track championships. I should atleast get first place money in footbrake and second place money for electronics.
They were sent to Nancy , but the check was made out to track owner...so she sent checks back to IHRA and they will be reissued and returned to each racer. It has nothing to do with Summit, they are a standup company.
well it sounds like there was a misunderstanding as usual. They have trouble with this every year and if I remember correctly jay you can only run one class in the summit super series. So with that said Jay you should only collect for one class which is 1st place in footbrake for the sss. Eddie League should collect for 1st place sss in electronics and Kevin Goss should collect for second place in the sss in electronics. Yes you did win the track chanpionship in both classes but that has nothing to do with the sss because you can only sign up to run one class in the summit super series.
John that rule was in the past few years . this year was the first that you could run for both classes. i could have run for both sss runoffs in dallas but didnt cuzz eddie was expecting to be able to run for it in dallas and also i didnt find out the new rule until way to late in the season and eddie and i already talked about him being able to race for sss.that would have been a huge dick move on my part to take that away from eddie with one month left in the season so i dropped it. i talked to kohutek and he confirmed that i was able to race in both sss runoffs and its because this year you didnt have to pay 10 entry to get in all u had to do is have an ihra member# with the x number. i should get both 1st for footbrake and 2nd for electronics. so pay me my money.lol
i forgot the other thing was i could not run one car in both classes at sss runoff i would of needed a 2nd car which i could of used my dads cuda. i was super mad at my dad cuzz all year he told me i couldnt run for both classes and when i found out to late in the season i told him i was right. i knew from the get go that i could run for both this year but everybody kept saying no i couldn't but i knew i could. so i blamed my self for not checking the rules earlier in the season, but no i waited till the last race of the year to confirm the new ruling and by that time it was to late. didnt want to make anybody mad so i excepted my place which should b second in electronics. plus i thought eddie had a better shot at winning it and it would have been cool for both of us to go to world finals. but yea i did want to run for both really bad. ther is always next year.
