I've been talking with a few racers lately about the possibility of having a IHRA finals team from LSR.

Gary Espinosa and myself have discussed this matter, and he seems to think it could happen. My idea is to race at LSR when they have their regular Tnt and jackpot races scheduled. This would not be asking the track Mgn to add to or change their schedule and should'nt cost them any extra expences. As far as payout goes, the more cars show up for the "jackpot" the bigger the winners money would be.

If we could sign up 20 or more racers at say $20 to enter points , we could cover the track entry at the team finals ourselves. Points could be kept by someone appointed, and tallied from the round by round print out like we did at Angleton. This will allow to have a track champion in each class.

This is just an idea at this time, but if there is enough interest we could push it further. There are more details that would have to be worked out , such as running three classes, top, mod and Jrs., also weekends that would schedule over RPR would be a facter to some...Let me know someting and lets see what we can do..

Add two more to the list. We are only about 30-45 minutes from there. :)Either Lonestar or Pine Valley. With diesel at 3.75, I would rather run Lonestar. We will be ready on the 26th. I have other commentments on the 19th.
