SWJDS DFW Nationals May 21-22 @ Dallas Raceway

As some of you may know there is a chance of rain this weekend for Attitude Apparel's SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series DFW Nationals at Dallas Raceway. We are monitoring the national weekend forecast and are following the local forecast as well.

If it is determined that the chance of rain is too high to hold the event we will make sure that we send out an email by 8pm CST time Thursday evening May 17, 2011. The announcement will come via email, the SWJDS web site, and other message boards and social networking sites.

SWJDS Racers,

Looks like the weather is going to hold out for us this weekend. I spoke to the track manager yesterday afternoon and he is good to go. We have been watching the forecast for the last 24-36 hours and we have determined that the chance of any issues is minimal. We are ON for Saturday and Sunday. For those of you hoping to run the gambler's race on Friday night or get a few test runs in you may be out of luck. We aren't calling it as of right now. It will be a race time decision. But, the gates will be open no matter what the decision and you will be able to come in and park overnight.
