Well here's the latest and great news Jack and I had a meeting this afternoon with Mr. Dave Golder & Bob Key , the subject being a proposal for a bracket program ! I want to first tell you that myself & Jack are very proud of your commitment to us in making this last event a stellar success without that we wouldn't have had this opportunity to present this at all, we will have a Summit Super Series Program . We are currently working out the points and all the other small details but it is a go . We will be working on a 12 race schedule and also a guaranteed purse to make it applicable for all ! I will be spear heading this with the assistance of Jack and we will use our resources to get the job done , we are also talking about a couple of racer appreciation races during the season too . We are also working on the plans for the one and only "HangOver Nat." Which we are planning on at the 1st or 2sd week of January , details to follow as we are checking to see about track personal . The track is planning to up grade computer system wwith a back up for the points format and the speakers also lighting . So there you have it folks I will be working on sponsers and things like that for the next couple months before we start in order to get more exposure . Thanks to everybody. And let's show our support by making the next event even better.
That is good news. Thanks Gary and Jack for going to bat for the racers. Thanks to Mr.Golder and Mr. Key for taking the time for a meeting. Things just maybe looking up for next years race season.
O"-- yeah some of the best news I have heard
Look forward to the upcoming race, but the outlook for next year ! after the closure of Angleton could not have come at a better time.
Keith and the Rockport crew
Gotta get the wifes car working better and we should be able to make most of them. Mine needs a gear change to 1/4 mile to run at RPR next year, but I can run 1/8 as it sits.
