Simple rules to follow:

Question one: Is the no electronics class run as a true footbrake class OR can you leave off of a transbrake (no delay box of course).

Question two: Is the team finals going to be run as a true footbrake or is a transbrake allowed.

Thank you!!

Re: Simple rules to follow:

For the nationals:
The use of trans brakes, two steps and automated shifters in the Mod category is permitted.

For the div. finals:
Modified ET – The use of delay boxes, throttle stops and trans brakes are prohibited.
Buttons on steering wheels are prohibited. Nothing is allowed in the car that will assist the
driver in leaving the starting line. Two steps are allowed on clutch assisted entries only.
Pneumatic or electric shifters permitted.

Re: Simple rules to follow:

Okay, I gotcha,...........BUT,..what about the "Teamn finals"? since they are neither a national event nor a Divisional race. Usually, each track has a "house rule" Just wondering what Sealy's rule will be. Then i would like to know that wherever the Summit Series team Finals are,. what the rules are there.

Re: Simple rules to follow:

In the past Sealy's rules have been the same as IHRA team finals rules. Bracket finals are held in Shreveport,La. this year and will be run per IHRA div4 team finals rules which are the rules posted by Bobby.House rules dont apply at bracket finals.Hope this helps.
