They do not observe courtesy staging and you CAN deep stage! If someone turns on both bulbs you have to the count of 15 by the starter to get in. After that you are disqualified! And the other racer gets a BYE run. Just so everyone knows!

I was there 2 weeks ago and ran 12 5.55s in a row and was treated very well.Everybodies got opinions.

I'm not gonna form an opinion on this, but when I e- mailed the guy about hotel info a few weeks back he replied the next day. I know that has nothing to do with track prep, but there is a wide range of opinions on his track and managing of it. We had talked about going and may go. I know this guy has managed a track in Georgia, US 19 I believe and they were known for some big $$ races . I hate to hear all this bad publicity on the place , I was looking forward to racing there again.

When I was there Jack I had 4 tech cards.Super pro,no-e, s/p bike,and no/e bike.he was there in the staging lanes all nite making sure everything ran smooth.I can only go by my experience but he ran a great race when I was there

I know it came across like slamming! But I was just letting you know. I was there the first weekend of points, signed up and the track was killer. During the drivers meeting we were informed that they did not recognize courtesy staging.

I was there at the first $10,000 race and the track prep was terrible. My car the race before was 60'ing 1.65 to 1.67, the day of the $10,000 race it was between 1.70 and 2.30 and we was informed that deep staging was going to be allowed. Sorry but in all of my 9 yrs of racing I have never heard of that. The only one that was deep staging is the guy that was driving the track managers car. AGAIN I was not trying to slam just WARN.

I heard they had the water box close to the starting line @ 15'? And Tim's car was taking off in a high gear that coulden't spin the tires in oil. Think I will pass on this one. But it would be a nice race to win.

Did his Car/driver win the last event? It's hard to beleive he set up the track and race format to his advantage and try and get away with it. I know deep staging is an acepted practice when you get in the deep south area. As far as the water box, 15 foot from the beam??, most dragsters are at least 22' long..I'd like to see that.

I'm not doubting anyones word here, I just hope he has a successful race, I would like to race there again and I'm ready to catch the buffet at the Horseshoe casino.

Well the proof is in the pudding! Why do you think that they pulled the Pro-Am from there. Track Prep!

The Sanction was pulled for other reasons.

Also if you don't believe it about the water box just ask Boots he won the $2,000 that day. He had to use nitrous almost every pass and drive the finish line because of the track prep!!!! Also take a gander at the points race attendance before and after the last $10,000 race.

Don't know of the exact distance from water box but I know for a fact it was where it was suppose to be UNTIL eliminations and they did move it FORWARD about 10/15 ft toward the starting line!!! This is true and yes we did win that $2000 pot skating down track the ENTIRE night.. if it hadn't been for his amazing lights that night then we would have never made it past first round! We had a good time and don't like to ever talk down about a track but these are not accusations these are issues racer did have..whether or not it was every racer is one thing but definitely did effect several!
We collectively decided to not return in the near future! Again no bad feelings at all just wasn't a great night for several racers out there but no disrespect meant for anyone!!!

Yall missed a very well run race.track was great.Dragster that beat me was running consistent 4.50s.In the semis Paul Holman and I both got beat.No E door car won.Full purse was paid.117 entries.
