i read were hrp was a mess yesterday, unorganized and sort.. i wasnt there so i cant say. I do read there message board, and it seems there is a lot of negitve talk towards the mgt. Is the mgt. that bad??? or do they,the racers just like to b**ch a lot. If so, why do they keep going back?? is'nt there other tracks near by to race at?? I just heard about your site and i really like it , thanks for letting me add my 2cents worth.

hey Cindy, thanks for checking out my site. HRP is usally a well run machine, i understand they are making some manager/ owner ship adjustments at this time.. they do seem to have a promblem with mgt.- racer communications. This is supposed to be a year of change for HRp and their race program, and nobody seems to know whats going on, at least not the racers! As far as the ******** goes,their always there, and they always go back. there are other places to race Angleton , lone star, s.a....I'm sure Hrp will get line out,and eveyone will be happy again

I was there. IT was quite a cluster *&$%. I got there at 4:30 and went straight to tech line and it took 40 minutes to get through. Heard some were in line for an hour and a half. Two oil downs did not help the staging lane situation but there was room for alot of improvement there also. I don't think they were ready for the crowd that showed up. Sure hope they get it worked out by Saturday.

Boy, I miss all the good stuff. This is one of the reasons that I don't go on friday or sunday.

It sure is funny that Saturday all the racers who complained and gripped all the off season about how bad things are, was there racing! The regulars should know that Wed, Fri and Sun are not good racing nights. HRP has a good facility and great people and racers. Everyone has the right to express their opinions, but we come back for more and to be one little happy family when race day comes. If they don't like it, then don't go! Simple! But I'll be there and probally see most of the complainers there too! So don't grip until you have real reason. I'm sure if you go to the other tracks, you could find negatives in them as well. Just human natural to find fault. I say it's your fault if you don't come out and be friendly and have a good time regardless.
