Brittany said she loved the track and is very smooth, She wants to go back. Hope there is more Jr.'s next time so we can get payed to, only 4 Jr.'s showed up Sunday.
Nice to meet ya John. I had a great time racin at Lonestar again. Made it down to 5 cars and blew the tires off racin John Cox. Looking forward to the next 2 day race at Lonestar.
New slicks went on yesterday and we will be ready for Angleton this weeeknd. See everyone there.
I really had a great time too, even though I broke a trans and had to give up 2 tech cards on Saturday, but thats racing. I had lots of help Saturday night changing transmissions so I could race on Sunday. Thanks Dad, Mike Murphy,David White,Bob Barkley, and Ernie Ybarra for all your help. Will be ready for the next 2 day event at LMP.
We had a good time despite my accident. I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who came by to make sure I was ok. All things considered, I think I was very lucky. We will be back for sure.

We have begun doing some improvements to Lonestar recently. This includes fixing fences as well as preparing to fix the return road. Plans also include fixing the dip in the right shut down lane, adding some paved pit areas as well as the 1/4 mile extension.
Lonestar will still remain loyal to its 1/8 mile racers. At the same time we feel that to be able to grow we need to have a broader appeal to racers and street car owners in the area. Hopefully the 1/4 mile will allow us to operate a few more days out of the week as well.
Anyway, we hope to have some of these updates and improvements done before our next race in June. See yall again real soon.
