Tommy, did you make it 4-IN-A-ROW in S/S last night??? I couldn't make it even though I wanted to. Hey, I got the Pinto fired up yesterday, sounds pretty strong. I'm hoping for at least mid 9's (your times), but I'll have to change convertors, it's pretty lazy until the engine gets to about 3K which is where the convertor stalls. It should be a pretty consistant combination. I should be able to give the "red and black trucks" more headaches like years ago... Hey, see ya next Friday (possibly...)

Made it to the semi's in street stock before I "got treed".

Tiff made it to the semis in Jackpot before "going red".

All in all we had a good night at the track.. didn't win.. but we "did well".

Haven't heard anything from the red truck this year.

He keeps threatening us with "his return", hasn't shown up yet.

He's started to berate barnyard again, so he must be getting close to returning.

Tom, true the pinto does not have to be perfect, but it has to be registered, inspected and insured, none of those have happened yet. Besides, I need to do some fine tuning and octane time trials to get the best and most consistant performance numbers out of it. I'll probably do that at HMP some Friday night after other things are finished. Still not sure about paint yet (actually $$$ for paint...) Anyway, thanks for the invite and we'll make it there some day for sure!
