The Nelson family did real well, Blair winning Jr's on Saturday, Brian R/U in No Box Saturday, and Bart staying in both tech cards til the bitter end in Box Sunday. Distant cousin Rickey got semi's & quarters in No Box Sunday.
(I think his name is) Dustin Bradford made the final in No Box both days. Todd Zampese was also in on 2 tech cards in Box Sunday. I forget who was in the final of Box on Saturday. Jay went down in the semi's Sunday, falling victim to the contagious "spin the tires, get out of shape, kill 3 MPH and still break out by .04" disease that was going around. I had to run Bart twice in a row in the third round of Box, and then Jay in No Box, and I guess you can see how that turned out.
I had a good time, I really like racing early compared to late. I wish we could get HRP to start early like that. The only people who have to suffer the afternoon heat are the ones that are doing good.
We had the final round sat at 9 pm. It was the only round that I turned on my lights. Maybe I shouldn't have, or I could have won. But can't see the tach,LOL. Great job out there in Sealy.
