I' VE KNOWN ROCKY FOR MANY YEARS AS A BRACKET RACER IN THE 70'S AND A SUPER CLASS RACER. ROCKY WAS LIKED AND WELL KNOWN FOR HIS UNIQUE COBRA SUPER COMP ROADSTER, HE WILL BE MISSED..

rockey keyes was a hell of a man. i had the luxury of growing up around him. my dad and him were very good friends. since i was always up at the shop since i could crawl, dad, rockey,don brader, and john garner were all father figures to me. rockey loved drag racing and he could not have went in a better way. i loved that man like a father and he will be deeply missed by me and everyone at the shop. before he passed at least he converted over to a ford...lol. when he went through the traps the car went to the right and then went left into the left wall (he was in the right lane.) from where he hit the wall to where the car stopped was over 1200 ft. as soon as the funeral arrangements are made i will post them to let everyone know. jack thanks for being there for me when i got the news.

Rocky was a very nice man, I had the pleasure of meeting him at some bracket meets. The first time I met him he was giving me some advice on what to do to my car. When you needed help he was there to ask. He was always was one to make u laugh. He will be missed..

I knew Rocky for about 20 years I guess . He was always as kind as anyone to me.I went to my first div. race with him. He will be missed sorely .
