Phillips 35th Different S/Pro Winner TX Motorplex Streak Alive!

(Sunday)Tommy Phillips veteran racer fron Forney Texas made the BTE S/Pro streak 35.That is 35 different winners in 2006 in the class!In the final his .014 light was all he needed to take out the Mopar powered dragster of Rob Caasteel from Canyon Texas.
In JEGS NO E Brian Hughes found himself in final number two of the weekend where this time he sealed the deal against West Texas hitter Ty Casey from Lubbock Texas.
Casey turned it -.005 red in his Nova giving the win to Hughes Pinto and the $1000 payday.
Ian Dunaway from North Richland Hills Texas defeated Misty Mayse from Frost Texas when she broke out in the final by -.001.However the runner up gave Mayse the lead in BTE Division 4 and the Race Tech World Championship.
Larry Blackwood was the JEGS Trophy Champ over Barbara Morphew from Coricana Texas.

Bart Nelson from LaPorte Texas was the BTE S/pro Pace Amrerican Run For the trailer winner running dead on with a zero with a .017 light.

Brian Hughes was the JEGS Sportsman winner running 6.630 on a 6.63 in his Pinto.

Jacob Burrows was the Jr Dragster Run For The Money winner running 8.077 on a 8.06.

Jim Callaway from Artesia New Mexico had a perfect light in the first round of BTE S/Pro and cashed in on $200 for the K&R Challenge.This has been a 5 week string of winners in the DRR series for the K&R Challenge.



(Saturday)Damian Landers from Elgin, OK was the 34th different winner this year in DragRaceResults.com GoodYear Series Action this year in BTE S/Pro.This makes no two time winners in the class.Cassie Thornburg a "Young Gun" female driver from Forney Texas was runner up.In the final Thornburg turned it red giving the win to the Oklahoma driver.
In JEGS NO E Benny Gossett is no stranger to the winner circle in his Austin. Benny won his second event of the year and took over the Wheeler Nationwide points lead when he defeated Brian Hughes Pinto in a close final.Only .001 seperated the two drivers on the starting line.
Kyle Rickman not only won the Race Tech Run For The Money but he also won the main event over 2004 series champ Brittny Blakely from New Mexico when he used a better light for the win.
Jory Wiemers was the JEGS Trophy Champ from San Angelo Texas.
In a special midnight $5000 to win 16 car Gambler with No Buyback.Chuck 'The Chuckster" Talley from Houston defeated Bart Nelson from LaPorte Texas in his 99 Mullis dragster for the win.
The MGM Best Apperaing and Engineered Car were from the same stable Mallori McCullar from McAlester Oklahoma with their street roadster and Joe Monden dragster.

Chuck "The Chuckster" Talley from Houston Texas went 5.080 on a 5.08 with a .003 light for the Pace American Run For The Trailer win in BTE S/Pro.
Billy Greathouse from Lewisville Texas went 6.809 on a 6.80 for the Jegs sportsman Run For The Trailer win.
Kyle Rickman from Combine Texas went 7.907 on a 7.90 for the Race Tech Run For The Money win.

(Friday)Cassie Thornburg from Irving Texas was the Jegs Gambler winner Friday night over Rusty Rose from Leveland Texas when he turned it red in the final.Gates are open for saturday night eliminations
