I would like to extend a hearty Thanks to Jack Robinson, it was a pleasure to finally meet you last Friday night at Angleton, and Jack Sr. it was nice to chat with you in the pits, good luck sir! It is interesting Jack that our paths did cross back in 1969 at the opening of DIMS, NHRA Spring Nationals, the rainy Sunday morning then killer action after it cleared up. And again later at Green Valley Raceway in 1972. Gee, small world for sure... It is interesting how differently our respective paths have taken. After not getting a sponsor for my race activities back in '74, I joined the military and made that my first career. Now being employed with the railroad I finally have the time (and almost the $$$) to get back in to racing seriously. Maybe someday I'll get to the level of racing I wanted some thirty-odd years ago. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the conversations Friday, and I'll be back, either spectating or maybe racing if it happens. Have a nice Labor Day!
