Brittany Iven fell off back of golf cart and hit her head. (Thomas and Shannon's daughter.) Took her to Herman I believe they said. She is still in ICU today, but doing good. This is what I got from track officals last night and today.

Jay spoke with Shannon this morning, she said they will keep her there a while longer to keep a eye on her.

WE are praying!!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Brittany and her family.

I will pray for her tonight and I hope she's ok.

We are here if you need anything, and we will keep praying for Brittany, also for you, for strength and peace.

I talk with Thomas today and he said shes doing much better, she will remain in the hospital for a couple more days for observation, he said she got a pretty good concusion when she fell off the cart. lets all hope and pray for a speedy recovery....

Hey everybody I just wanted to thank each and everyone of you for all of your concern it means a great deal to Thomas and I. Once Brittany gets her head and memory back I know she will be so thrilled to know that all of you care so much. They have moved her out of ICU as of tonight so that is a step in the right direction. She is responding to us now so that is also a great thing. I just know she is going to wake up tomorrow and say "Mommy I was just playing I.m ok now" I have had several people call me and for an address here at the hospital.
That is Hermann Hospital 6411 fannin st, Houston Tx 77030, Hermann Pavilion 9th floor room 965.

We again thank you for all the prayers and thoughts and just keep praying.

Just an update...

Brittany is up walking around asking when she can go to the races... hmmm she is back. AMEN She is talking staying up more and acting a little more like herself. She is still not out of the woods yet but on the way and the dailey improvement is awesome she still has some memory loss and headaches but physically is doing great.

Her uncle bob and Suni sent her a racing cookie bundle and made her day thanks guys.

Will keep ya posted... we hope to come home soon..

Glad to hear she is on the Road to Recovery!! Can't wait to see her back on the track!!

Brittany was released to go home Friday and is doing wonderful almost like nothing ever happened.

Hi i am back home now! I love ya'll praying for me,i really miss ya'll I wanted to go to the race track last night but i counldn't cause I just came back home sothat is why i did not go to the race track ,oh ya,now i can't race my car anymore.

Brittany will be able to race her car next year she means she can not race for 3 to 6 months. But she will be back.
